The Role
We’re looking for a creative, detail-driven Customer Sales Specialist to join our growing team. You’ll play a key role in supporting the sales process by creating polished, engaging resources, enablement and experiences that help us win with customers.
From tailored Trumpets and customer-ready resources to interactive sandboxes and demos, you’ll make sure every touchpoint looks on brand, professional and compelling.
This role blends creativity, technical know-how and content creation, the perfect fit for someone who loves turning ideas into engaging resources that impress and inspire.
As a Customer Sales Specialist, you’ll take ownership of creating polished, customer-ready resources that bring Thrive’s value to life. You’ll design and manage Trumpets — our mini-site tool for customers, build engaging slide decks for meetings and workshops, and craft compelling resources that highlight our value, roadmap, and product story. You’ll also develop and maintain sandbox demos across all Thrive products, ensuring every customer experience feels bespoke, creative and impactful.
Core Responsibilities
- Own and create Trumpets – design and manage our customer mini-sites, ensuring they’re polished, engaging, and aligned to each opportunity.
- Design and deliver slide decks for customer meetings and workshops, providing clear, professional resources that support customer conversations and AD enablement.
- Craft compelling resources – from proposals to tailored collateral that showcase Thrive’s value, product roadmap, and product story in a way that resonates with customers.
- Create and deliver demos, POCs, and presentations that bring Thrive’s products to life, tailored to customer needs and highlighting our unique value.
- Develop and maintain sandbox environments across Thrive products, ensuring every customer demo is impactful, bespoke and ready to impress.
- Partner with Account Directors to understand customer learning challenges and design tailored resources that meet their strategic objectives.
- Stay up to date with Thrive’s platform capabilities, competitor offerings, and roadmap to keep our presales approach sharp and competitive.
- Support the Account Director team with presentations, proposals, and showcasing results/value back to customers.
- Create documentation throughout the renewal process to support a seamless experience and strong customer retention.
Essential Skills
- A strong interest in technology and education
- Excellent communication, written and creative copywriting skills
- Strong design sense with an eye for brand consistency
- Passion for solving problems for customers
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- High attention to detail with a commitment to quality
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn and grow
Desirable Skills
- Familiarity with cloud computing and SaaS environments
- Understanding of industry standards for learning content
- Experience with project management and cross-functional collaboration
- Skilled in using tools such as Canva, Google Slides, PowerPoint, or Trumpet
- Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences
- Creative copywriting and storytelling skills
- Experience working with API technologies or technical integrations
