What you'll do

As a Proposal/RFx Bid Writer in the Presales Team at Thrive Learning, you’ll play a critical role in crafting high-quality, compelling responses to requests from potential clients. You'll focus on responding to Request for Proposal (RFP), Request for Information (RFI), Request for Quote (RFQ), Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs), and ESG Questionnaires, showcasing Thrive’s strengths and solutions. 

Working closely with the Head of Presales, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, including InfoSec, Product & Tech, Engineering, Customer Ops, Professional Services, and Sales. You'll ensure all responses accurately reflect Thrive's competitive advantages, align with company language, and meet client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

● Produce High-Quality Responses: Craft ,review, and submit well-structured responses to RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, DDQs, and ESG Questionnaires, emphasising Thrive’s strengths and solutions.
● Enhance Brand Consistency: Develop and maintain persuasive ,consistent company and product information that highlights Thrive’s unique offerings and competitive edge.
●Manage RFP Workflow: Coordinate internal deadlines and gather Subject Matter Expert(SME) input across the company, ensuring timely delivery of client-facing documents.
● Maintain Knowledge Base: Update and refine the RFP response database, ensuring accuracy with evolving product and industry knowledge.
● Collaborate with SMEs: Work closely with client portfolio managers, investment managers, and other SMEs to create accurate and compelling content.
● Utilise AI Tools: Participate in testing and utilising a new Gen AI tool for drawing responses, streamlining the proposal creation process.
● Peer Review & Quality Assurance: Review the work of team members to ensure consistency, accuracy, and adherence to high-quality standards.
● Support Sales & Customer Teams: Collaborate with in the Sales/Customer teams, providing guidance and sharing insights to support the success of team members and proposals.

What you bring

Essential Skills

• Proposal Writing Experience: Extensive experience managing the RFP process, with a strong understanding of proposal writing, best practices, and project management.

• High Proficiency in Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to work independently on complex projects.

• Collaborative Mindset: Ability to work seamlessly within a global, cross-functional team, occasionally leading projects and providing guidance to peers.

• Organisational Skills: Highly organised and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment.

• Attention to Detail: Excellent editing, document formatting, and proofreading skills, with an eye for detail and accuracy.

• Industry Insight: Ability to stay informed about the latest in learning technology trends, competitors, and market developments.

Desirable Skills

• Proposal Software Expertise: Familiarity with proposal management software like Loopio, Qvidian, Responsive, or RocketDocs.

• Learning Technology Experience: Background in workplace learning technology or related fields, with an understanding of industry challenges and opportunities.

• SaaS & Cloud Knowledge: Familiarity with cloud computing and SaaS, especially in the context of learning technologies.

• Creative Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to adapt to new proposal requirements and identify innovative ways to highlight Thrive’s strengths.
